Cure International

Mr Redfern supports CURE International. He has travelled to Malawi as part of a team of UK surgeons visiting a specialist children’s orthopaedic hospital supported by CURE International and an orthopaedic trauma unit in Blantyre.

Mr Redfern is a longstanding member of the British Foot & Ankle Society and served on council for several years.

Mr Redfern regularly reviews for the Bone & Joint Journal which is the most prestigious orthopaedic journal publishing the highest quality medical research in this field.

Mr Redfern has served the maximum 2 full terms on council of the European Foot & ankle Society and was also Chair of the Scientific Committee for several years.

This is the journal of the European Foot & Ankle Society and Mr Redfern has been an active reviewer for the jounal for many years.

Mr Redfern was faculty and part of the scientific committee for the recent world congress of minimally invasive surgery in Marrakech (MIFAS) as well as teaching minimally invasive surgery worldwide for GRECMIP and other organisations.

This is the official journal of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and is distributed worldwide. Mr Redfern has been on their specialist panel of international reviewers for many years and also continues to contribute research and opinion to this journal.
